much more expressive and comprehensive with a pen rather than my voice. soft spot for children, strangers, foreign cultures, tattoos with stories, geoffrey rush, forts, big kitchens, birds, sappy bands, colin firth, the smell of books, matches, christmas lights. I do not believe in luck or coincidence. I do believe anything can be accomplished with the right playlist. I also believe in naps.

TONIGHT
My life changes. Tonight is the last time I shall see Thrice, or so they rumor, for the farewell tour. Cat’s Cradle will be bumping with craze. I’m sad and ecstatic to say that my third Thrice show will be the charm, which seems appropriate, since the band is named, well, Thrice.

Over the past two years or so there’s been no shortage of photography and short films featuring the sensuous curls of ink plumes dispersing underwater. Yet nobody comes close to the master, Italian photographer Alberto Seveso (previously here and here) who creates impressive underwater landscapes so rich in detail and color it makes me want to swim through my monitor. - thisiscolossal
